Tenants Unite, Webinar #1: We Can Win

On Thursday, January 28th, the PEI Fight for Affordable Housing hosted its first tenant organizing webinar.
The webinar featured speakers from Nova Scotia ACORN, Parkdale Organize, and the Vancouver Tenant Union. Each organization shared stories about the problems their communities faced — evictions, rent increases, disrepair, gentrification — and how they solved them through organizing.
